My name is Brandon Butler, and I’ve been an automotive enthusiast for nearly my entire life. My passion for vintage cars began early, thanks to my father and his 1951 MG TD Mk2, a car we enjoyed together as a family. Growing up, I attended events like the Milwaukee Masterpiece and the British Car Field Days, where I made lasting memories, such as sitting in an HRG and a pre-war Bentley.
While cars briefly took a backseat during my early adolescence, my passion reignited in sixth grade when my dad proposed a father-son project. That project became my first car: a 1930 Ford Model A Sport Coupe. In seventh grade, while my peers were focused on sports and games, I was attending car shows with my dad every weekend, creating unforgettable experiences.
My journey into selling automotive parts began in 2014 when, at the age of twelve, I listed my first item on eBay—a hubcap for a Ford Transit van. My passion for cars continued to grow, inspiring me to host a car show at a nursing home to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. This was a great way to give back to the community as well as meet so many wonderful car enthusiasts.
In 2018, I sold my item on commission item for a friend: a set of Triumph taillight lenses for $500. The success of that sale marked the start of my eBay profile, which is still active today. Initially, I specialized in selling items for clients with large collections. However, I noticed a need among people with only a few items to sell.
To meet this need, I founded Butler Motorworks in 2024. Our mission is to make selling vintage car parts as seamless as possible, helping fellow enthusiasts find new homes for their cherished items.
